Invasive Plant Removal - Stennis

Date:  Saturday June 21 and Saturday July 19

Time:  8:30am to noon.

Location:  Stennis tract, just west of the intersection of Spicewood
Springs and Loop 360.  

Description:  Celebrate the beginning of summer by removing invasive
plant species, mainly ligustrum, on water quality protection lands along
Bull Creek. I think the weather is supposed to be cool that day.  Click

Time:  9am to 5pm.  Half day is optional

Location:  Upper Bear Management Area, near Shady Hollow subdivision, on
Brodie between 1626 and Slaughter Ln.  

Description:  Work with Watershed Protection staff to set up an aquifer
recharge experiment on the Water Quality Protection Lands.  Lots of
mixing concrete and drilling items together.  Click HERE

Description:  The Austin Ridge Riders will be constructing trail on the
WQPL's Slaughter Creek tract.  This trail cannot be opened until it is
completed.  Come help finish it so that it can be opened this spring.
