 Hubbert's Peak will be holding a photovoltaic design workshop this
Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Space is limited so  sign up [2] soon! 
 Whether your interested in solar power for your home or looking for
a  "green collar" career, our class is a fun, informative and
cost-effective way to learn. It is part lecture, part hands-on. You
will get a comprehensive view of the installation process. We will
cover the following: 
 Site Evaluation: choosing an optimum site based on maximum sunlight
exposure 
 Load Analysis: calculating the energy expenditure for the appliances
in your home 
 Energy Efficiency: discussing cost-benefit of efficiency, comparing
off-grid & grid-tie 
 System Identification: learning each component by name and function 
 Array Layout and Installation: learning to install in a timely,
aesthetically pleasing, code compliant manner  
 What: photvoltaic design workshop  
 When: Saturday, August 2nd 10am to 2pm
