Green Corn Project's Building a Better Garden Workshop
Sunday, May 4, 1-5pm
Free
Join Green Corn Project's Building a Better Garden workshop and learn how to
build items for your garden. You'll learn how to build seed flats and
reusable wooden tomato cages. The sturdy and durable cages can also be used
for cucumbers, beans, and any other vegetable that grows up. We will also be
demonstrating how to build a compost pile and showing options on how to
enclose your pile. And we'll offer a short refresher on double digging and
transplanting seeds and starter plants. We hope that you can join us and
prepare for your fall garden while it's still cool enough to be outside!
