The more people who call Senator Hutchison's office, the better. Thanks,

Subject: Texas All Hands On Deck -Expiring Clean Energy Tax Credits
Dear Texas Friends:
The solar bill we have been waiting for has been introduced in the Senate.
You are receiving this email because one of your Senators has yet to become
a co-sponsor of this crucial bill - The Clean Energy Tax Stimulus Act of
2008- and we hope you will help change that. Please call Senator Hutchison
right now and ask him to sign-on today as a co-sponsor.
The Clean Energy Tax Stimulus Act of 2008 was introduced yesterday, and
would extend the expiring commercial solar tax credit for 8 years and the
expiring residential solar tax credit for 1 year (while also removing the
$2000 cap on the credit). The bill also extends expiring clean energy tax
credits that support the development of other renewables and energy
efficiency measures. So far the bill has 27 co-sponsors - we need to raise
that number to 65 for this bill to have a legitimate chance of passing.
